Born in Cairo where he studied Egyptian dance and ballet at the National Academy of Folklore and Theatre, Wael Mansour has become one of the best choreographers and solo dancers of Egyptian folklore and contemporary Oriental dance.
He has been featured in Egyptian theatre, television and cinema as well as in festivals in Egypt and internationally. Wael works with a number of companies, including the Elkawmeia and Hassan Hafifi Group; He lives currently in Italy where he teaches throughout the country and worldwide. Wael’s goal is to spread out a deep knowledge of the innovative Egyptian dance through theatre and educational programs.
